Experience Empathy, Build Connections

Starting June 26, 2023, we invite you to embark on a transformational six-week journey of empathy, understanding, and authentic communication from the comfort of your home. Our Empathy Practice Group, held virtually via Zoom, is dedicated to practicing and cultivating the skills of empathic listening based in the teachings of Nonviolent Communication (NVC). Our Wednesday evening sessions are open to anyone worldwide interested in learning, practicing, and deepening their practice of giving/receiving empathy.

Why Empathy Practice Group?

Empathy is at the heart of listening and it’s a skill we can all benefit from, in every facet of our lives. This group provides a nurturing experience to explore empathy concepts, practice empathic listening, and engage in meaningful dialogues that promote mutual understanding.

Our Meetings

We meet every Wednesday evening, starting from June 26, 2023, for six consecutive weeks. Our virtual meetings are held from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM Mountain Time, ensuring you have enough time to immerse yourself in the practice, engage in exercises, and share experiences. All you need is a stable internet connection and a Zoom account to join us.

Who Can Attend?

Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or you’re just getting started with empathy and/or Nonviolent Communication, everyone is welcome. If you’re curious about empathy, longing for deeper connections, or simply want to enrich your communication skills, this is the place for you.

While there’s no fixed fee to join our sessions, donations are gratefully appreciated. Your generous contributions support the group’s sustainability and help keep this beautiful journey of empathy and understanding accessible to all. However, lack of funds should not deter anyone interested from attending – we’re more than happy to welcome you!
